What time do the races start and end?
Regular season events start at 7:00 pm and will normally end by 11:00 pm.
Special event race times are posted on our schedule.
Is camping available?
Camping is encouraged and free! We have a large area for camping
and there is plenty of room for everyone.
Dry camping only. (no dumping)
What type of food do you sell at the track?
We have a full service concession stand with a good selection of food items from
snacks to full meals along with a large variety of drinks and adult beverages.
Are coolers allowed?
No. We encourage you to check out our concession stand.
What accommodations do you have for Handicap?
We have fully accessible bathrooms along with a wheel chair accessible viewing area.
Where do we park at the track?
Thunder Mountain Raceway has a large parking area just in front of the main
grandstands. Parking is always free.
Should I bring anything specific?
Dress appropriate for the weather. We have everything else handled for you.
We encourage ear protection and don’t forget your jacket.
What items are not allowed at the track?
No outside food or drinks are permitted inside the facility.
Are pets allowed at the track?
Pets are not permitted inside the main concourse area.
Is there an area where drinking is not permitted?
Yes, we have a family section where there is no drinking or smoking permitted.

RAIN CHECK POLICY
We all know rain and racing do not mix. We will try to run our racing events
as planned, however, weather is beyond our control. If a race
is called due to Mother Nature (rain, wind, etc.) the following policies will apply:
If all heat and consolation races have NOT been finished, a rain-out will be called.
Keep your ticket stub or wrist band to use as your rain check and it will be honored
the next week. For special events, rain checks will be honored at the next similar
date or the rain date as announced by Thunder Mountain Raceway Management.
NO refunds will be given.
If all heats and consolation races have been completed, the race event is considered
a complete. Rain checks will not be given. (When allowed by the rules of the division,
the main events will be run the next time that class is scheduled to race.)
These policies apply for General Admission, Reserved, and Pit Passes.
